Take steps toward a happier, healthier back. Yoga teacher and movement educator Christa Rypins believes that you are as vital and vibrant as your spine is flexible. This weekend, she gives you the tools to practice yoga and other activities in a pain-free, intelligent way. You will
- Work with the deepest layers of abdominal muscle to make movement easy
- Open the hips in dynamic yoga postures that help you experience the exact location of your hip joints
- Dramatically increase hip and low-back flexibility through simple mental imagery
- Eliminate overstretching injuries as you explore the balance of strength and flexibility through resistance stretching
- Learn simple techniques that relax the shoulders and neck in five minutes a day
- Access and strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor to create a foundation for spinal health.
Come experience Christa’s secrets for a healthy spine in this weekend of back-care basics particularly helpful for people who want to do yoga and other activities but find them painful.
